I am involved in a lovely card swap each month hosted by Fran Kawakami. You can visit her blog, which is wonderful at http://littlepaperstudio.blogspot.com/
Anyway, the colors scheme, which is always optional, is purple and yellow. So, I took one of the vintage cards from last week's class with Donna Sledzik at Inspiration Station in Stafford Springs, CT, and did it up in purple and yellow. However, I am now thinking it is too Easter and will most likely work on another card. I have a week to send it out so will be on time even though it is going to Canada.
My very best friend, Kim, gave me the pieces for a card, also shown here with the little chick. I put it together but stole the ribbon for the card with the bunny. Kim, who is extremely crafty and into all sorts of things, made me this cool wreath. I have it up at work in front of a fake window. I have no window in my office, a source of much upsetness for me. I feel quite claustrophobic every day. The guys in our Weatherization Assistance Program hung this window for me one day to make me feel better. I do work with some very wonderful people.
BTW, Kim's blog is onthefence-kim.blogspot.com
Hey, Mary, these are beautiful cards!
